Growing up I was taught that showing up was one of the most important things we can do for one another and also that it's the little things that matter the most.
Throughout my life I have journeyed through many versions of my helper role until I finally landed on becoming a counselor and art therapist. After the birth of my own children, my understanding deepened of the need for supporting parents during the critical time period of prenatal-five. Over the years this has become increasingly important and is now the main focus of my work. As a nationally endorsed Infant Mental Health Specialist and Perinatal Mental Health certified practitioner I bring expertise and support to parents, helping them to understand their child’s development and needs. I offer both traditional counseling methods as well as utilization of art therapy techniques. Special offerings include: Circle of Security Parenting and Survivor Moms' Companion.
